Weeks 1-2 (Sep 9 - Sep 19): I Hope I Get It!

During the first two weeks, students participate in a personalized, low-stress audition process designed to showcase what they’ve learned and what they’re most excited to do in the show. Middle School Musical students also experience a more comprehensive audition process, including cold reads and callbacks.

Weeks 3-11 (Sep 21 - Nov 21): Putting It Together

During these classes, we will focus on character development, blocking the show, and introducing various theatrical elements that will be used such as sets, props, special effects, and costumes.

Weeks 12-14 (Nov 30 - Dec 19): Prepping for Opening Night

The cast will begin running doing “Run Thrus” where they perform the show from start to finish. We’ll also start adding in transitions so performers know when and how to enter/exit the stage, when to get microphones, make a costume change, or pick up a prop from the prop table. These classes are VERY important and we ask that you do your best to ensure your child is at every class unless they are ill.

-- There will be NO CLASS during Winter Break (December 21 - January 2)

TECH WEEK: January 3 - 7

The week of the show, we will be having rehearsals after school at the theater. These rehearsals will be MANDATORY.

All productions include an additional $250 admin fee

PRODUCTION ADMIN FEE INCLUDES:

• 2 tickets to our production (Additional tickets will be available to purchase closer to the performance)

• Scripts & other class materials

• Costumes (Families will NOT be asked to go out and purchase items for the show but may be asked to bring clothing you already own.)

• Props & Sets

• Week Long Rental at The Richard Christiansen Theater​
